Perhaps it is the recurrence of our past failures, insecurities and or let downs that hounds at us and discourages us. Adopting a childlike mentally when creating creative solutions may be a way to tackle an arch nemesis like depression.

Imagine sending telekinetic blasts at depression which will weaken or even destroy it. Have fun defeating depression to show oneself it is possible.
Whatever your passion is use it to aid you. If one loves anime use it for one’s entertainment. Or you can even find an online anime community to join. Look for comical anime memes that can empower or motivate you.
One can upgrade their arsenal by adopting different forms of affirmation. This may include but is not limited to verbal or physical exercise. If one is a dancer, first of all, look back at videos of you dancing and how you developed. Then get to busting a move anything to get your mind off any negative thoughts you are harboring. Focus on the positive aspects. If you find something to preoccupy one’s mind as a result depression one will surely leave one’s mind.
Seek help
Remember these techniques may not work every time, and if it becomes too unbearable then one should seek professional advise. Surround oneself with the individuals that care for and about you. Surround yourself with great people to acknowledge and build up one’s confidence.
