We all watched the anime and we read the manga…ONE PUNCH MAN! A series created by an author using the pseudonym One in 2009, and later in 2012 it was remade digitally by illustrator Yusuke Murata.

We know how awesome Saitama aka One Punch Man is with his explosive strength and his amazing speed and agility. Not only is a great series to read and watch the series has also inspired and motivated a lot of people to start working out or try Saitama’s daily routine.

His regimen includes one hundred push-ups, sit-ups, squats, and a ten kilometer run EVERY single day for three years.

Saitama’s regimen includes eating three meals a day. Just a banana in the morning is fine.

One Punch ManDuring his three-year journey Saitama never wasted money on A/C or heat during the summer and winter. I believe he did this to adapt his body to any type of situation.

Personally, I try to do One Punch Man’s regimen. I do at least one hundred push-ups, squats, but sometimes I do not get a chance to run the ten kilometer. When I do I sometimes go over the quota that goes for the squats and push-ups as well. An alternative to the ten kilometer run can be jumping rope and/or the kettle bell swing (whichever you prefer). I do not to do classic sit-ups anymore because of health risk like hurting your back during the exercise. Studies show that sit-ups are bad for your back. And I have personally experienced some lower back pains the day after doing sets and sets of sit-ups. I’m fine now though haha! If doing sit-ups continually who knows how much worse my back could become. I use alternate forms of exercises for abs and the core like leg raises, planks, high knees, mountain climbers, Russian twists to name a few.

Results

As you can see in the video Saitama has some amazing abilities. If you keep up with your daily training you too can gain superhuman abilities just like One Punch Man! You will be so strong that you can save your city too from all the evil that threatens it. Haha! Just kidding. Well, maybe not exactly the same ability, but you will definitely become stronger and faster than if you were doing nothing at all!
