Shocking details began to emerge today about how a gunman killed five people including his mother and a three-year-old girl in a six-minute shooting spree in Plymouth before turning the weapon on himself.Jake Davison, 22, shot and girls games killed his mother Maxine, 51, at a property in the Keyham area of the Devon city last night, before going outside and shooting dead the child and her male relative with a pump-action shotgun.He then shot and killed another man in nearby parkland.
After shooting and fatally injuring another woman, Davison shot himself. Officers arrived at the scene six minutes after receiving multiple calls from the public.Davison also shot two other local residents who are being treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

One witness, calling herself Sharron, described seeing the shooting as ‘horrendous and so sad’. She said: ‘Firstly, there was shouting, followed by gunshots – three possibly four to begin with.’This was when the shooter kicked in the door of a house and randomly started shooting.

Police say they do not yet know of any formal relationship between Davison and the man. The owners of the hairdressers told MailOnline that they only closed about an hour before the shooting.Nikki Whitton, co-owner of Blush, said: ‘The police told us that the cordon around our salon will remain in place over the weekend and maybe even into early next week.
It’s very tragic what’s happened.’ Janet, a local resident, told MailOnline: ‘I heard all the sirens going and went to see what was going on. When I got to the hairdressers, I saw a woman on the floor, and she was receiving CPR.
It was a horrific sight.’ 6) SHOOTS HIMSELF Eye-witnesses tell police that Davison then turns the gun upon himself, taking his own life before officers arrive. The owners of the salon were told by police that it would have to remain closed until early next week because it is where Davison shot one of his victims and then himself.Leah Bull, co-owner of Blush, said: ‘I was informed that a woman was shot outside the salon while a man was found dead by some garages which are behind it.
