Generous? The reason why should be generous to everyone.
Being generous to everyone has its perks. Not only does it make you feel good on the inside. Generosity makes you grow as an individual. It teaches you to be humble, it teaches you to be great. 
The world teaches you to be selfish by the possession of things. Most of the time these are things that we do not necessarily need.
For example, when a new smart phone comes out most people rush to get it because it is the latest thing. The new phone does not have that much more upgraded features than the previous model. But consumers are willing to spend hundreds more on a new phone that they do not need, why? Is it because of greed? Is it because they do not appreciate what they already have?
Society also teaches us about status. What is the difference between the rich and the poor? The fed and the hungry? There isn’t really a difference between us as human beings. What makes use different from one another is our personality and our character.
The rich and the wealthy.
There is a difference between the rich and wealthy? The rich are born with a lot of money or receive a lot of money through inheritance or the lotto. While the wealthy earns their money through hard work and are not motivated by money like the rich. They are motivated by their passions and dreams.
What you do with your money and how you use it is key to anyone’s long-term success.
With that said if the rich and the wealthy both lost everything who do you think will know how to get back their fortune? The wealthy of course! Another thing that separates the wealthy from the rich is knowledge. The wealthy know how to make money and the rich just had it to begin with.
These are just two definitions. Success entirely depends on the individual like I stated before. The main things that separate individuals are knowledge, personality, and character.
What to do?
Bill Gates said,
“If you are born poor it’s not your mistake, but if you die poor it’s your mistake.” What do you think he means? If you begin with nothing, you can’t just wish for things to fall in your lap. You have to hustle and be smart to become something in life.
A silver spoon will only take you so far. I’m not saying someone who is rich cannot be wealthy they absolutely can, but that entirely depends on the individual.
Be aware and thankful
If you are someone working hard to make your dreams a reality be aware and accountable who has been there for you and who has helped you on your journey to the top. Be there for them as well and help them anyway that you can so that you can grow together.
And when you finally do make it and have your thousands, millions, and even billions, what will you do with your money? Buy the biggest houses (mansions), luxury or sports cars, private jets, etc. I’m not telling you to splurge, but with all that money I hope power does not go to your head. Or your ego does not inflate.
Giving back and seeing others become successful as well is even better a feeling than when you’re not at the top all by yourself. And even if you try to help others and they are not willing to put the work in then your efforts are useless and they do not deserve your time. Supply your knowledge to someone who will actually take it and implement it.
And as you can see in the video above not everyone cares about money and being big and famous. Wealth is a very powerful word and can mean a lot of things. Yes, you can be wealthy when it comes to money, but you can also be wealthy in love, happiness, and health.
Do not assume!
You can assume someone to be the happiest person ever, but in reality they may be suffering from something horrible. You don’t know what they have been through. They may have grew up rough or may be still going through something. So do not assume!
Some people are better at controlling their emotions than others. If something is bothering
someone they may lash out in different ways, for example, this person may take their anger out on everyone while that person is crying in silence all the time.
You never know, so don’t assume. Build a relationship with that person or at least make a human connection with them and figure a way to be there for them if need be no matter the circumstances.
Two outcomes of being generous to your enemy? 
If you are fighting or arguing with someone bury the hatchet. Life is too short for destruction or despair. That energy should be used to build something great together. Act kind to someone you’re not too fond of and that hatred that you both have for each other may turn into friendship.
When your kind to someone and that person does not appreciate your kindness then that person does 
not deserve your gratitude. They should kick rocks. One of the reasons for their rejection is due to their love of chaos and these people should not be in you life because they will only hold you back. They say people who cannot love others is due to the fact that they do not love themselves.
Give, give, give, and you shall receive.
Give more than you take and things will be given to you naturally. Even if you don’t receive anything back materialistic you will get a great feeling in your soul. Stop being greedy. Yes, you have to do things that make you happy, but if someone needs help, help them and they may help you in ways that you could never help yourself.
So, I challenge you! I challenge you to go out there and give. Give like you never gave before! I’m
not talking about going out there and be taken for granted. Go out there and be generous to people who respect you, appreciate your kindness, and actually deserve it!
You don’t have to give away something materialistic. Do something as simple as saying hello, using manners, spending time with someone, talking to someone you haven’t in a while, giving advice, something as simple as giving someone a smile, making someone laugh, etc. you get the idea right?
